One of the world's most famous (and simultaneously infamous) bands is getting back together – and fans in select cities are scrambling to be part of the reunion tour.

Oasis announced it will hold a world tour for the first time since breaking up in 2009 following years of controversy and in-fighting – most notably between brothers and globally-renowned bandmates Liam and Noel Gallagher. The tour announcement came on the heels of the band's 30-year anniversary reissue of its debut album, Definitely Maybe, at the end of August.

Some of our best sports betting sites are all over this major entertainment event, and have offered odds on a variety of entertaining Oasis Live '25 Tour markets.

The fascination over which song will kick off the Oasis Live '25 Tour is sure to lead to considerable chat buzz – and that will likely make this one of the most active markets of all.

Three songs are well out in front across our latest odds, with "Rock n Roll Star" enjoying a slight advantage over "Hello" and "Acquiesce". It's worth noting that "Rock n Roll Star" was the first song played by the band in its last official live performance on Aug. 22, 2009 at Staffordshire's Weston Park.

That said, "Hello" seems like the wonderfully simple choice given that the band is reintroducing itself to the masses following a 15-year pause.

You don't normally see this kind of betting market for a touring musical act. But if you don't know why this is in play, then my friend, you don't know Oasis.

Liam and Noel have spent the majority of their adult lives sparring with each other across every conceivable medium: In interviews, on stage, on radio or television, and especially on social media. And while the optimism surrounding this reunion is certainly encouraging, let's be real. This is Liam and Noel Gallagher we're talking about.

Here's an entertaining look back at the biggest tiffs between the brothers. My personal favorite is when Noel is quoted in a Q Magazine interview, describing Liam as "the angriest man you’ll ever meet. He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup."

(And, of course, Liam clapped back.)

Okay, so everyone's getting along. Great! But even if the Gallagher siblings manage to survive through the European portion of their tour, they still have a long way to go.

Sportsbooks aren't quite as optimistic that the Oasis Live '25 Tour will satisfy every date on its ambitious calendar, putting the implied probability of a complete run at just over 64%. On the flip side, there's a 46.5% chance that this tour comes to a premature end, which would be particularly disappointing to fans in Australia.

Expect these odds to fluctuate if rumours of any sort of brotherly rift start making the rounds.

It has been 15 years since Oasis released a proper studio album – and I can't imagine they would go to the trouble of committing to one of the most anticipated tours in history without also intending to release new material.

And, well, Oasis agrees:

Of course, a fan followed up by asking how Liam would describe this shiny new collection of songs in one word, and Liam replied:

So, you can see why sportsbooks aren't exactly clamoring to remove this market quite yet.

We'll see, I guess. TURDOS.

When you consider that Oasis is one of the biggest concert attractions in the history of the planet, the fight for tickets is shaping up to be among the fiercest of all-time.

The band has named just 12 cities, with a pair of visits to London on the docket. Just eight countries are included on the list, with just three U.S. stops and a lone Canadian venue making the cut.

It's possible that the band will open up more dates, but it's highly unlikely that fans in other countries will be treated to an Oasis live show this time around.

Oasis Live '25 Tour chronology

August 27, 2024: Coinciding with the 30-year reissue of its debut studio release Definitely Maybe, Oasis announces a series of tour dates between the UK and Ireland spanning July 4 to August 17, 2025. The press release goes on to say that the band also intends to add dates and venues outside Europe.

August 29, 2024: The band announces the addition of three dates in Europe due to unprecedented demand for tickets.

August 31, 2024: Tickets for all 17 dates have already sold out, with some fans claiming that the ticket queue had as many as one million people in it at one point. The band would later criticize Ticketmaster's "dynamic pricing" model, in which tickets nearly tripled in cost from when they first went on sale.

September 30, 2024: Oasis confirms that its long-awaited tour will land in North America, with one stop in Canada (Toronto) and visits to Chicago; East Rutherford, N.J.; and Pasadena, Calif; in late August and early September 2025.

October 8, 2024: The band announces it is returning to Australia, with dates in Melbourne and Sydney in late October and early November.

It didn't take long for the uber-talented quartet to make an impact in Europe, debuting at No. 1 on the British charts just six days after Definitely Maybe was released and becoming the fastest-selling debut album in Britain's storied history.

Oasis followed that up with one of the most commercially successful (though not exactly critically acclaimed) Britpop albums in history. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? sold a reported 22 million copies world-wide while taking home Best British Album at the 1996 Brit Awards and landing on several lists of all-time great releases.

The band never matched the stratospheric success of that second studio album but still saw tremendous success with the universally lauded Be Here Now in 1997, which was certified 7x Platinum in the UK and was its final album to achieve Platinum status in the U.S. The next two releases earned largely mixed reviews overall, while Don't Believe the Truth and Dig Out Your Soul were both considered strong releases and returns to earlier form.
