Josh Allen was as close to automatic as anytime touchdown scorers came last season. He failed to find the end zone with his legs in just five of Buffalo’s 19 games in the regular season and playoffs. However, this season has thus far told a different tale.
Allen has only four rushing touchdowns through 10 weeks, failing to hit pay dirt in seven games.
Instead, offensive coordinator Joe Brady has elected to reinvent the Bills’ ground game while allowing Allen to refine his passing skills. The seventh-year quarterback is on pace for the second-lowest rushing output of his career for both touchdowns and yardage.

He’s also coming off one of his best rushing performances of the season (eight carries for 50 yards and a touchdown) against the Indianapolis Colts.
There’s a razor-thin margin between his implied probability (42.55%) and his historical numbers against Kansas City (42.85%). But with FanDuel offering +135 odds, the arrow points toward this being a value play.

Allen has been hot and cold through the air against the Chiefs in his career. He’s gone Over this total four times, averaging 257 yards per game overall.
The MVP candidate will also line up against a weaker Kansas City pass defense than he’s faced in years past. Steve Spagnuolo’s unit ranks 14th in the NFL, surrendering 206.7 yards per contest.

Josh Allen Under 37.5 rushing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐
While Spagnuolo and Co. are still trying to iron out some kinks in the secondary, they’ve contained Allen’s rushing threat reasonably well over the years.
Allen’s rushed for fewer than 35 yards in two of his last three outings against the Chiefs. We covered Allen’s more conservative rushing style this season earlier, which is reinforced by the fact he’s only rushed for 38 yards or more four times.
Allen’s gone under this total at a 60% clip this season. Given these statistics and Kansas City’s familiarity with the quarterback, we feel comfortable leaning Under. FanDuel has a slightly higher yardage prop than other sportsbooks but still returns a respectable $8.85 profit on a $10 wager.
