The Washington Commanders will look to keep their NFC East hopes alive against the Philadelphia Eagles when these teams square off at Northwest Stadium at 1 p.m. ET (FOX).

When making the best Eagles vs. Commanders player prop picks for Sunday afternoon's game at in Landover, it’s hard to ignore just how dominant the Eagles were on the ground in the first meeting.

Saquon Barkley ran for 146 yards and two touchdowns, and the team totaled 228 rushing yards.

The Eagles are favored by 3.5 points on Sunday, and the Commanders’ success will come down to whether they can shut Barkley down.

And if they do slow Barkley down, can Jayden Daniels bounce back after struggling in the first meeting between these two teams?

We're also offering our best Eagles vs. Commanders prediction as part of our NFL Week 16 predictions.

Hurts has scored 14 rushing touchdowns this season, but we’re getting a really favorable price this week. The main reason is that the Commanders haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown in three consecutive games.

Yet, despite the Commanders’ success in recent weeks, they’re still allowing 0.9 rushing touchdowns per game, tied for 15th in the league.

Hurts has scored at least one touchdown in all but four games this season. He’s scored in eight of his last nine, and he found the end zone last time against the Commanders.

This price should probably be closer to -150, which is exactly what FanDuel is asking. To get this at -120 at DraftKings is simply too good to pass up, especially considering what the Eagles did on the ground against the Commanders earlier this year.

What have the Commanders done to prove they can shut down Barkley on Sunday?

In the first meeting, they allowed him to average 5.6 yards per carry, and as a defense that is allowing 4.8 yards per rushing attempt this season, I don’t expect that number to drop.

Therefore, the only way that Barkley doesn’t hit this number is if the Commanders dominate, which I don’t see happening. The Commanders are allowing 132.1 rushing yards per game, and Barkley has topped 100 yards in four of his last five and eight of his last 10.

DraftKings has this total set at 98.5, so to get this for seven fewer yards for a price that is better than any of our other best sports betting sites are offering is incredible. Don’t wait to get in on this, as this number is likely to climb.

Jayden Daniels Over 205.5 passing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.38%

Daniels threw for only 191 yards in his first game against the Eagles, but that was one of just three performances this season in which he didn’t top 200 yards. In one of those games, he threw just two passes, and the other performance was in Week 1.

The rookie has been consistent all season, but this is still only a three-star play because the Eagles have the best pass defense in football.

Philadelphia is allowing just 173.4 passing yards per game this season. Despite that, this number is focusing far too much on one performance. Daniels has topped this number 10 times this year.

FanDuel has this total set at 214.5, and it's asking -113 for the Over. While BetMGM also has this total set at 205.5, it's asking -115, which provides less value than what you can get by wagering at bet365.
