The action gets underway on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET from Kansas City, where the Chiefs will host the Houston Texans as they look to advance to their seventh straight AFC title game.

That's followed by a highly anticipated clash between the likely NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Jayden Daniels, and his Washington Commanders against the Super Bowl odds favorites, the Detroit Lions. Kickoff for that contest is at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Sunday features a 3 p.m. ET kickoff in Philadelphia, as the Eagles host the Los Angeles Rams, who are coming off a massive victory over the Minnesota Vikings as underdogs. Will they pull off another upset?

The weekend concludes with, of course, the main event. It's Lamar Jackson vs. Josh Allen. It's the Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills at 6:30 p.m. ET in a battle to determine the People's MVP.

Texans vs. Chiefs: Joe Mixon anytime touchdown ⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the biggest mistakes the Houston Texans made in their Week 16 loss on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs is that they didn't lean on Mixon to win the possession battle. Instead, quarterback C.J. Stroud threw the ball 39 times to Mixon's 14 rush attempts, and the Chiefs possessed the football for seven-plus more minutes.

On Wild Card Weekend, Houston didn't make the same mistake against an equally stout Los Angeles Chargers rush defense. Despite the tough matchup, the Texans let Mixon wear down the Chargers' front with 25 carries, and Houston possessed the ball for nearly 10 more minutes than L.A.

Mixon is expected to take on another big workload in the divisional round. He's projected for 17.80 rushing attempts and, more importantly, 0.53 touchdowns.

Therefore, we're getting very good value on these +140 odds for Mixon to find the end zone. DraftKings has the next-best price at +130.

Commanders vs. Lions: Lions -9 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell watches the action from the sidelines as we look at our divisional round expert picks.

Dominant. That's the word that describes the Lions this season. Dan Campbell's men were an NFL-best 12-5 against the spread. Detroit covered by an average of 7.8 points, nearly two points more than the league's second-best in that category (Buffalo: +5.9). The Lions finished with a +121 point differential at Ford Field.

While Jayden Daniels and Co. have been fantastic on this Cinderella run, they don't have the defense to slow down the high-flying Detroit offense. Aaron Glenn's unit also flexed its muscles against a great Minnesota team in Week 18. All the Lions will need is a couple of stops to run away with this contest.

Rams vs. Eagles: Dallas Goedert Over 33.5 receiving yards ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert reacts after scoring a touchdown as look at our divisional round expert picks.
Pictured: Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (88) reacts after scoring a touchdown. Photo by Bill Streicher-Imagn Images.

Goedert has endured a frustrating season, not due to his level of play but because of injuries. He's healthy now and ready to make a splash against a Los Angeles Rams defense that allowed the second-most yards per game during the regular season to opposing tight ends (66.56).

The Rams struggled to contain T.J. Hockenson last weekend, conceding 64 yards to the Minnesota Vikings tight end. And Goedert is in line to do the same on Sunday.

Goedert provides another weapon for Jalen Hurts, and the Eagles quarterback usually utilizes his tight end's services when possible. Goedert had 47 receiving yards against Green Bay last week and hit the Over on this prop in seven of 10 games, including the last three. A winning $10 bet will profit $8.33.

Ravens vs. Bills: Derrick Henry Over 95.5 rushing yards ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry scores a touchdown as we look at our divisional round expert picks.
Pictured: Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry (22) scores a touchdown. Photo by Geoff Burke-Imagn Images.

While Allen and Jackson are the NFL MVP odds favorites, the award could've gone to a handful of players, including Henry. He's unlocked Baltimore's offense, which averages 30.5 points per game, and is knocking on the door of 2,000 rushing yards.

Henry's cleared the 96-yard mark at a 55.56% clip this season. Further, he often gets better as the weather gets colder. Buffalo's 12th-rated rush defense is now tasked with stopping a 247-pound bowling ball in frigid temperatures and potentially snow - good luck, Bills.
