Caleb Williams has fallen narrowly short of a marquee divisional upset in consecutive weeks, and he'll lead his Chicago Bears (4-7) in an NFL Thanksgiving showdown with the Detroit Lions (10-1) at 12:30 p.m. ET (CBS) from Ford Field.

Our Caleb Williams player prop bets for Thanksgiving expect Williams to keep things competitive as an underdog for a third week in a row, though we have higher hopes for his counterpart in our Jared Goff player prop bets.

Along with our Bears vs. Lions player props, we're offering our best Caleb Williams props as part of our NFL Thanksgiving picks.

Caleb Williams NFL player props

NFL picks made Wednesday; odds subject to change. Our NEW NFL player prop odds tool can help you find the best odds on any market across legal sportsbooks in your area!

Caleb Williams Over 227.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -113 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.05%

Williams is coming off his best game as a pro after he diced up the Minnesota Vikings last week for 340 passing yards and two touchdowns.

With Chicago sitting at +9.5 on the spread on the wrong side of our Bears vs. Lions prediction, the game script for this one should lead to plenty of passing opportunities for Williams once again.

The rookie's passing line of 227.5 yards is a mark he’s met just four times this season, but he’s gotten there in consecutive games leading into this Thanksgiving matchup. Detroit allows 227.2 passing yards per game on the year.

Whether the offensive line can hold up against Detroit’s pass rush is a fair question, but the combination of a potential pass-happy script and finally seeing Keenan Allen healthy and contributing could be significant for Williams’ props on Thanksgiving.

Caleb Williams Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+188) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +188 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 34.72%

The Lions have not allowed an opposing quarterback to throw multiple passing touchdowns in a game all season, but the plus-money odds for this prop are calling out to us after how Williams looked last week.

Detroit has allowed just one rushing touchdown over its past three games, so it’s not as though Williams is particularly likely to be vultured by his running backs. With the game total sitting around 48.5, we like the Bears to put up points with Williams taking advantage of the lack of expectations by putting on a show.

FanDuel is offering this wager at +188 odds, which is a major value compared to the +165 odds across some of our other best sportsbooks.

Caleb Williams to throw an interception (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -114 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.27%

It can’t all be good news for the rookie gunslinger. A pass-happy environment could also mean Williams makes a mistake on a throw that he’ll wish he had back.

The Lions defense had forced opposing quarterbacks to throw at least one interception in 10 of their first 11 games this season (90.9%) before Anthony Richardson avoided one last week - though he still had multiple near-misses.

It’s possible that recent attrition has made Detroit's defense less adept at takeaways, though Williams already has five interceptions on the year and feels more likely to throw a pick than these near coin-flip odds would suggest.

C Jackson Cowart is also expecting Williams to throw an interception as part of his Bears vs. Lions parlay.
