Mike Woodson has already announced he won't be back with the Hoosiers next season after the program's collective dropped plenty of NIL money to build what was supposed to be an NCAA Tournament-worthy roster.
Instead, the Hoosiers are 6-8 in Big Ten play and 2-7 since Jan. 11. Even with players like Oumar Ballo and Myles Rice joining the team, Indiana sits outside the top 45 in both adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency, per KenPom.
While Woodson's team has been respectable ATS this season, this is the first time it's been less than a 2.5-point underdog in Big Ten play. I think that's an overreaction to the upset win over MSU, and is underrating how strong UCLA has played as of late. The Bruins are 7-1 in their last eight (5-3 ATS) and in that loss, they covered as a 7-point underdog against Illinois.
With a defense that's 12th in adjusted efficiency and players like Tyler Bilodeau and Eric Dailey Jr., the Bruins should win this one on the road. If they cover for the fifth time in their last six games, a $10 bet pays an $8.70 profit.

Rumors have swirled since Ballo left Tucson for Bloomington over how much the big man is making in NIL, but regardless of whether he got the bag or not, he hasn't been able to do enough to lift the Hoosiers this season. He's averaging eight PPG in his last three outings and now plays one of the Big Ten's best defenses.
The Bruins are built to slow a player with Ballo's skill set. He's not able to stretch the floor and makes his living in the paint, but UCLA has allowed the fewest 2-pointers per game in Big Ten play this season (15.4) and has two capable bigs in Dailey and Bilodeau.
