The Arizona Wildcats (10-5, 4-0) aim to stay undefeated in their run through the Big 12 slate when they host the Baylor Bears (11-4, 3-1) at 11 p.m. ET on Tuesday in McKale Memorial Center in Tucson, Ariz.

This will be Arizona’s toughest conference test yet since joining the Big 12. Baylor is ranked No. 25 in the AP Poll and No. 18 on KenPom. But the Wildcats are 5.5-point favorites to extend their win streak to seven in a row.

Read on for our Baylor vs. Arizona prediction and odds ahead of this battle on ESPN.

Baylor vs. Arizona predictions today

College basketball picks based on the odds from our best March Madness betting sites.

  • Against the spread pick: Baylor +5.5 (-106 via FanDuel) vs. Arizona ⭐⭐⭐
  • My best pick: V.J. Edgecombe Over 2.5 assists (+135 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Baylor vs. Arizona ATS prediction

Baylor to cover the spread: +5.5 ⭐⭐⭐

I’m tempted to hold off for a +6, but the reduced vig at +5.5 is still a three-star play. It’s worth noting that a spread of an entire two possessions is still more valuable unless a book was offering -101 odds on +5.5.

The Bears have performed well enough against similar competition. They suffered a four-point road loss to UConn in December and are coming off an overtime road victory against Arizona State.

Arizona, meanwhile, hasn’t beaten a team ranked better than No. 39 overall on KenPom during this six-game win streak. This comes after the Wildcats lost nearly every non-conference test, including a 57-54 defeat to UCLA in a semi-home game on Dec. 14.

This could be Arizona's “welcome to the Big 12” moment. At the very least, the spread is giving the Wildcats too much credit, especially compared to EvanMiya’s projected margin of 3.8.

I’m taking the points at +5.5 or better.

V.J. Edgecombe Over 2.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Baylor freshman guard VJ Edgecombe will be a top pick in next year’s draft, and for good reason. He’s averaged 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game this season.

I like the plus-money offer on his assist prop, considering this game could be a track meet. Arizona ranks 53rd in tempo, which could help Edgecombe make more transition plays.

He’s cleared this prop in four of his past six games, illustrating the value in this +135 price tag.
