The veteran is a pure scorer, and he averaged slightly more points per game (13.9) with a higher offensive rating (122) in 13 outings on zero days of rest last season.
He averaged 23.5 points per game in his last two contests on no rest and dropped 20 points in Golden State over just 28 minutes earlier this season. Powell tallied 20-plus points in 10 straight affairs before going cold in consecutive games against a stout Rockets defense.
He's great at attacking defenders who are closing out, and the Warriors feature an aggressive rotating defense that can leave them vulnerable to athletic wings.
