Our Timberwolves vs. Bulls NBA player prop bets try to explain what has been an intriguing head-to-head matchup lately.

The Minnesota Timberwolves (4-3) emerged as one of the best teams in the Western Conference last year, but they've lost their previous three meetings against the Chicago Bulls (3-5) since 2023.

Minnesota enters Thursday’s contest as an 8.5-point favorite at the United Center in Chicago ahead of a game televised on NBA TV. Yet two of the last three showdowns needed overtime to determine the winner. The T-Wolves also come into this clash sitting seventh in the NBA Championship odds.

Will we get another epic battle tonight?

I still like Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo as a potential NBA Sixth Man of the Year odds contender. He could become a superb scorer off the bench after getting more comfortable with his new team.

That might be happening already, as DiVincenzo has scored 14 points in two straight games. He's hit three 3-pointers in those two contests, and the guard now faces a Chicago team allowing the fifth-most 3-point attempts (39.5) this season.

With a projection of 13 points, I see plenty of value on this Over at FanDuel, especially when some of the best NBA betting sites charge -135 for the same ticket.

Jaden McDaniels Over 1.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Bulls are the league's fastest team. They're No. 1 in pace (106.19) this year after leading the way in the preseason. That provides an opportunity to bet on their opponents’ props.

In this case, I like Jaden McDaniels’ chances of dishing out multiple assists in a potential track meet. He’s not much of an offensive threat, but his on-ball defense keeps him in games whenever the foward can stay out of foul trouble.

McDaniels recorded multiple assists in three of his four October outings, but he's failed to do so in November. I project 1.8 assists, so this Over should be -105 instead of the +155 bargain bet365 provides.

Anthony Edwards Under 3.5 3-pointers ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -115 via bet365 | Implied probability: 53.49%

Anthony Edwards had a memorable quote when asked what he’d tell people who thought the two-time All-Star shot too many 3-pointers last week. His answer isn’t safe to share here, but I’m sure you saw it.

The thing is, Edwards hasn’t been shooting as many 3-pointers lately. Edwards has attempted 13 3-pointers over the last two games since going 7-for-14 from long range during a win over the Denver Nuggets.

That volume suggests value on the Under for his 3-pointers made prop tonight, especially since I project a fair price of -158 for this ticket. Play this prop at -120 or better ahead of a game in which the Timberwolves might not need much from Edwards down the stretch.
