The Boston Celtics travel to face the New York Knicks on Saturday. Tipoff from Madison Square Garden in New York City is set for 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC).

The Celtics picked up a victory in the season-opener against the Knicks, as they were historically great from beyond the arc, thrashing the Knicks at TD Garden.

Our Celtics vs. Knicks prediction, player props, odds & picks for Saturday's tilt examine whether Boston's big two can continue piling up counting stats and if Josh Hart can continue to be an effective scorer for New York.

Best Celtics vs. Knicks prop predictions

Jaylen Brown prop pick: Over 32.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is our best bet of the night, and we’ll happily take it at juicy -104 odds. Brown has been red hot over the last two weeks, and we expect another productive outing at Madison Square Garden.

Brown has hit the Over on this line in six of his last seven while averaging 24 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists. He’s gone Over in 24 games this season, including 10 of 21 on the road and four of his last six away from TD Garden.

The Knicks have surrendered 33 PRAs to shooting guards and 33.8 to small forwards this season, and Brown will be asked to play both wing positions with Jrue Holiday sidelined.

Brown has been the biggest beneficiary of Holiday’s absences this season, averaging a whopping 39.4 PRAs in eight games without him and 32.9 with Holiday in the lineup. Brown has hit the Over on this line in seven of eight games played without Holiday this season.

I'm hammering the Over.

Josh Hart prop pick: Over 14.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hart has been cooking on offense as of late, and there’s no reason to expect that to change tonight. Over his last four, he’s averaged 18.8 points and hit the Over on this line in every game.

New York’s do-it-all forward is averaging 14.9 points per game at home compared to just 13.6 on the road, and he’s hit the Over on this one in 14 of 27 in the Mecca.

Over the last seven games, the Celtics have surrendered 25.6 points per game to small forwards, good for sixth-most in the Association. He scored just 12 points in the opener, but that game was a blowout, and he logged only 23 minutes.

Expect a closer game and more minutes for Hart tonight. He’ll need to stay engaged as a scorer with 16.4 point-per-game scorer OG Anunoby out for a third straight.

Best odds: -108 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 51.92%

Jayson Tatum prop pick: Over 5.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐

Tatum’s assists line is set at 7.5 across our best sports betting sites, but I prefer to take it at the alt line of 5.5 for a safer wager, despite the shorter odds. Tatum is averaging a career-best 5.7 dimes per game this season, and we expect him to hand out at least six tonight.

Boston’s superstar forward has handed out at least six assists in 23 of 49 games, including 14 of 25 on the road where he’s averaging exactly six. He’s hit the Over on this line in six of his last eight outside of TD Garden.

Tatum has handed out six or more helpers in three of his last four overall, and he ended with 10 assists in his first meeting with the Knicks on opening night. He should continue to thrive as a facilitator, especially while guys like Brown and Derrick White continue to stay productive on offense.
