The two-time Wooden Award winner has had an up-and-down rookie campaign after being a popular player to back in the NBA Rookie of the Year odds race. The 7-foot-4, 305-pound Edey has played more than 23 minutes just five times in his last 21 games as head coach Taylor Jenkins tries to keep the Godzilla-sized Canadian fresh.

As a result, the 22-year-old has put up fewer than 14.5 points and rebounds in three of his last four games and now has a tough matchup with the Orlando Magic. Orlando is holding centers to the seventh-fewest PPG (20.43) and fewest RPG (13.15) in the NBA.

Another rookie center with plenty of hype not long ago, Alex Sarr, has fallen far down the Rookie of the Year oddsboard after being the favorite a few weeks ago. The No. 2 pick in the draft had been dealing with an ankle injury, and in his first game back, he combined for just 19 points, rebounds, and assists in over 31 minutes.

The Frenchman has failed to go Over 21.5 PRA in five of his last six games and he's averaging just 20.2 combined on the season. Against a Milwaukee Bucks defense that's holding centers to the fifth-fewest PPG (20.37) and APG (3.87), Sarr might have trouble getting into a rhythm.

The best player on the NBA's best team, Gilgeous-Alexander has been unstoppable this season. He's the only player in the league averaging 30-plus PPG and six-plus APG, and has managed 24 games of Over 39.5 points and assists, including combining for 59 the last time he played the Utah Jazz.

Utah's defense is one of the worst in the league - 29th in rating (119.6) and 27th in points allowed per game (119.4) - and has allowed the second-most PPG (25.93) and APG (10.14) to point guards. SGA has averaged 40.4 points and assists since the start of 2025, and that should continue against the Jazz.

Sabonis leads the league in RPG (14.6) and has been averaging 16 RPG since the beginning of January - he's gone Over 14.5 in four straight games. That dominance should continue against a Golden State Warriors team that's allowing the sixth-most RPG to centers this season (15.96).
