This isn't what most meant when saying they want to see Conor McGregor return to fighting.

The MMA legend is in talks to fight Logan Paul in a boxing match, according to early reports, as the YouTube star brothers continue to turn the sport into an unconventional marketing campaign. This latest development comes just months after the Irish fighter was scheduled to headline UFC 303 alongside Michael Chandler.

There's no date yet, or an official confirmation, or any other verified information about the fight yet. However, rumors state the bout between McGregor and the elder Paul brother could take place in India.

Our best boxing betting sites give the fighters equal -115 odds of winning the fight. That price carries an implied probability of 53.49% for each contestant to "earn" the victory.

What do we know about Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul?

Next to nothing!

McGregor took to X/Twitter to note his "preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India." He also mentioned the Irishman would pursue his return to the UFC afterward amid rumors McGregor would fight featherweight champion Ilia Topuria.

McGregor hasn't fought in the UFC since his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 (2021). The now-36-year-old was forced to withdraw from that bout via doctor's stoppage after breaking his leg at the end of the first round.

Paul, a former YouTuber like his brother Jake, won the WWE United States Championship in 2023 but has since retired from wrestling. He sports a 1-1-2 exhibition boxing record, with his only win coming against MMA fighter Dillon Danis.

Paul has also logged draws against Floyd Mayweather and KSI, and a loss to the latter.
