After the Los Angeles Dodgers seized a 2-0 lead in the World Series, the New York Yankees return home looking to claw their way back into the Fall Classic as we offer our Dodgers vs. Yankees prop bets tonight.

The Yankees likely never expected to take both games at Dodger Stadium, but they surely would have hoped to win at least one. They nearly did just that before World Series MVP odds favorite Freddie Freeman's heroic walk-off grand slam in Game 1.

The Dodgers then silenced New York's bats in Game 2 and head to the Bronx with a commanding series lead.

When first pitch is thrown from Yankee Stadium tonight at 8:08 p.m. ET (FOX), it'll be right-hander Clarke Schmidt on the mound for the home team. Opposing him will be fellow righty Walker Buehler, who's struggled mightily this season.

Buehler highlights our Dodgers vs. Yankees prop bets, while we're focusing on his counterpart for our Dodgers vs. Yankees prediction.

Will the massive World Series odds favorites run away with this series, or can the Yankees find some magic in the Fall Classic?

Best Dodgers vs. Yankees prop bets

Walker Buehler Over 4.5 hits allowed (+135)

Buehler was truly terrible this season, finishing with a career high ERA and WHIP, and managing his fewest-ever strikeouts per nine.

The right-hander's .286 batting average against was the 12th-highest in the majors among pitchers with at least 70 innings, and I'm betting his inability to keep the ball from being put in play will burn him again tonight.

Buehler is projected to allow 4.56 hits in Game 3, which would make this essentially a coin flip. However, we're not getting coin flip odds, as you can see by the 44.44% implied probability associated with this +135 price.

As a result, we're getting nearly 12.5% positive expected value on this bet, and it's a much better option compared to the Over 3.5 at much shorter odds found at our other best sports betting sites.

Best odds: +135 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 44.44%

Austin Wells Over 0.5 hits (-105)

Following a solid regular season that had him trading as a MLB Rookie of the Year odds contender, Wells has been abysmal during the playoffs.

The catcher has just four hits in 44 postseason plate appearances, good for a .098 average. However, we're betting that he bounces back tonight.

We're making this bet for two reasons. First, as we already mentioned, Buehler stinks. Second, this price has gotten far too long.

The second-longest odds at our best sports betting apps for any other player to record a hit in Game 3 are -120 for Max Muncy and Gavin Lux, who also aren't hitting the ball especially well.

Additionally, Wells' hits projection tonight is a solid 0.8. When we run that number against these odds, we see we're getting better than 7.5% +EV on this bet.

Who knows, maybe catching Shohei Ohtani stealing will give Wells the confidence boost he needs.

Best odds: -105 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 51.22%

Anthony Rizzo Over 0.5 runs scored (+210)

We're seeing some value on Rizzo's hits Over, too, but I have a hard time betting it because I can't be sure he's not going to get plunked again like he did twice in Game 2.

Therefore, we'll back Rizzo to score a run at these generous +210 odds. Between his lone hit, two walks, and the two HBP, Rizzo has gotten on base in five of his nine plate appearances during the World Series.

Unfortunately, due to Wells' struggles - as well as Anthony Volpe's and Alex Verdugo's - he hasn't come around to score.

Though his runs projection is only 0.48 tonight, we're getting incredible value thanks to these massive plus-money odds at DraftKings. Based on his projection and this price, we're getting better than 18% +EV on this bet.

A winning $10 wager would result in $21 in profit, so if you wanted to limit this to a half-unit ($5), you would still get a full unit in return for less risk.

Best odds: +210 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 32.26%
