We're scouring the best MLB odds to find the top MLB win totals for the 2025 season, and, to no one's surprise, the defending champions and World Series odds favorites open with the highest total.

As you'd expect, the Los Angeles Dodgers have the highest projected win total across our best sports betting sites. The Dodgers are coming off a World Series win in Shohei Ohtani's first season with the team, and they've already begun adding more to a star-studded roster.

Though they missed out on Juan Soto, who joined the New York Mets, the Dodgers added left-hander Blake Snell to a rotation that will also feature Ohtani this coming season. As a result, Los Angeles' win total is trading at an absurd 103.5 at FanDuel.

We're providing a look at every team's MLB win totals for the 2025 regular season, with odds from the best MLB betting sites.

2025 MLB win total odds

Only one of our best sportsbooks is offering this market with the offseason in full swing, though it sets up the market nicely and provides us with a general idea of what to expect.

It's important to note the differences between how certain sportsbooks listed their win totals odds last year ahead of betting in 2025.

Some chose to juice the Over and Under to different degrees, depending on which side is deemed to be the favorite. However, Caesars mostly opted to list both sides at -110. Additionally, Caesars listed some flat totals, which could result in a push if the team finishes with the exact number of wins listed.

These nuances will help bettors find edges in one of the most popular MLB futures markets.

I'd likely forego betting on win totals this early in the offseason, with many moves yet to be made. However, it's possible to identify early value, so if you feel strongly about a certain side, you should bet it now before it moves.

American League win total odds analysis

We've listed each team in the order they finished at the conclusion of the 2024 MLB season to provide you with a better understanding of both how the landscape changed and the degree of success these teams had last season.

The East was perhaps the most balanced division in the American League last year (you could argue the Central had more teams tightly grouped at the top but it also had the historically bad Chicago White Sox). That's reflected in the early projected win total numbers.

The Toronto Blue Jays own the lowest total at a still-respectable 76.5, while the New York Yankees are tied for the second-highest total in baseball at 93.5 following the additions of Max Fried, Cody Bellinger, and Devin Williams.

In the Central, we have the logjam that was expected after how these teams finished last year. Four of the five teams in the Central are trading at a total of 82.5 or 83.5, with the division-winning Cleveland Guardians serving as the "favorites" to have the best record among the bunch. Of course, FanDuel doesn't expect the White Sox to be as bad as they were last year, because how could they, right? Right?

The West is much more tight than you might expect, with the Texas Rangers trading only two wins belong the Houston Astros. However, the Astros just dealt away perennial MLB MVP odds contender Kyle Tucker, so it makes sense to see them trading at this total rather than one in the 90s, especially since they won only 88 games last year with their superstar outfielder.

National League win total odds analysis

My goodness, look at those NL East projected win totals. Five teams in baseball have a projected win total of 90-plus, and three of them are in one division.

Of course, the Philadelphia Phillies won the second-most games in baseball last year, and they're expected to essentially run it back with a nearly identical team (if not a better one should they make any additions). Then you have the Atlanta Braves, who still managed to win 89 games in 2024 despite being severely bitten by the injury bug. And, finally, Soto and the Mets.

New York still has some question marks, but it's likely they'll win two more games than they did last season after adding one of baseball's truly elite players.

The Central is the AL East of the National League, as we had a cluster of teams finish with very similar records behind the dominant Milwaukee Brewers. However, unlike the AL East this year, there's no standout team in the NL Central. That leaves the Chicago Cubs - with the recent addition of Tucker - as the favorites to win the most games, with the Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates, and St. Louis Cardinals all trading at nearly identical totals.

Finally, we come to the West, which features the only team projected to win 100-plus games. Yes, it is entirely possible (and likely) that the Dodgers will be even better during the regular season this year. Their rotation is truly something to marvel at with the addition of Snell and the expected returns of Ohtani, Dustin May, and Tony Gonsolin.

Also, there are still a handful of impact free agents floating around, and you can't count out the Dodgers from making another big move.

How to bet MLB season Over/Under win totals

There’s nothing complicated about MLB team win totals markets. You’re betting on whether or not a team will win more (Over) or fewer (Under) games than a projected total.

To find these markets, go to your favorite sportsbook, head to the baseball or MLB section, and look for "futures." There, you'll find a variety of options, including win totals.

Our sites with the best sportsbook promos set the total based on each team’s roster, offseason transactions, past results, and the strength of their schedule.

MLB team win totals are futures bets. They can be placed up to each team's first game of the season and are graded at the conclusion of the regular season.

However, odds can be posted throughout the year across a number of our best sportsbooks. Those numbers often differ from the opening totals and associated odds, which can lead to potential value plays on teams that get out to a surprising start in either direction.
