The Tennessee-Georgia rivalry has seen plenty of points scored in its history. The former SEC East foes have combined to score 56 points per game in their last 10 meetings. Only three of those games have gone Under this year’s total of 48.5, so why do we like it so much?

The Volunteers have struggled to get things going on the road in SEC play this season, mainly because they don’t run the ball well away from Neyland Stadium. Tennessee scored 25 and 14 points respectively against Oklahoma and Arkansas while away.

Suffice it to say Georgia is a different beast entirely. The Bulldogs have had offensive struggles of their own, too, as they come off a 10-point showing at Ole Miss.

With 68% of tickets involving the total for this contest at BetMGM being on the Over, it means it could increase as we get closer to kickoff. If you’re with the public, place your bets now. If you’re with us, hold out until you can hopefully get some more wiggle room with the total.
