It’s a battle of old vs. new when the Clemson Tigers (10-3) travel to face the Texas Longhorns (11-2) at 4 p.m. ET (TNT) on Saturday at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium.

The Longhorns are double-digit favorites after losing their first CFP appearance last year. The Tigers, meanwhile, have made the playoff for a seventh time (trailing only Alabama for most appearances) and first since 2020.

Our Clemson vs. Texas player props help set the stage for a much-anticipated matchup, which we also discussed with our Clemson vs. Texas prediction.

Jaydon Blue has taken a backseat to Quintrevion Wisner in the running back depth chart in recent weeks, but Texas might split the usage more evenly in a game it's a double-digit favorite.

It’s certainly closer than the anytime touchdown odds for Wisner (-330) and Blue (+160) might suggest.

Blue has scored six touchdowns this season, including one on Nov. 23, when he had 15 carries against Kentucky. He has recorded double-digit rushing attempts in six games this season.

I’ll take my chances at these odds in a potential blowout.

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers hasn’t played well lately, averaging 6.2 yards per dropback over his past four games. If things go south for the Longhorns on Saturday, there might be a push to get Arch Manning in the game.

However, the most likely outcome would be a conservative game plan for Texas. Ewers has finished below this mark in three of his past four games, averaging 242 passing yards per game this season.

I don’t see him coming close to this number, which is why Ewers’ passing yards prop is as low as 252.5 at Caesars.

Antonio Williams Over 4.5 receptions (-128) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -128 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 56.14%

Clemson might be playing catch-up on Saturday, which could lead to higher usage for receiver Antonio Williams. He led the team with 71 receptions this year, averaging 5.4 catches per contest.

Williams has recorded at least five receptions in six straight games, averaging 9.6 targets over that span. This exact ticket cost as much as -145 at bet365, indicating the value that FanDuel offers to bettors.
