The 2024 NFL Draft begins Thursday at 8 p.m. ET in Detroit, Mich., and runs through Saturday afternoon. Former USC quarterback Caleb Williams has long sat atop the NFL draft odds from our best sports betting sites as the presumptive No. 1 overall pick of the Chicago Bears. But the uncertainty begins with the Washington Commanders at No. 2.

No, residents will not be able to bet on the 2024 NFL Draft in Alabama. However, the Alabama senate has been debating introducing legal sports betting, eventually.

Alaska

No, you can't bet on the NFL draft in the 49th state, as there is no legal sports betting available.

Arizona

Yes! Arizona sports betting is alive and well. There are some restrictions surrounding the draft though. All draft betting markets must close before the start of Round 1 on Thursday, and there are no best live betting sites for this event.

Arkansas

Yes, Arkansas sports betting allows for wagering on the NFL draft.

California

California sports betting is not available for the NFL draft or any other sporting event.

Colorado

Yes, Colorado sports betting permits wagering on the NFL draft among its many legal options.

Connecticut

No, Connecticut sports betting does not allow for betting on the NFL draft, even though many other markets have been legal since 2021.

Delaware

Yes, Delaware sports betting is available for the NFL draft via BetRivers since the start of 2024.

Florida

Yes, Florida sports betting is available via Hard Rock Bet for the NFL draft. That's the one and only legal sportsbook in the Sunshine State.

Georgia

No, Georgia sports betting is still not operational despite some voter consideration earlier this year.

No, there's still no progress on Hawaii sports betting to report for the NFL draft or otherwise.

Yes, Illinois sports betting permits wagering on the NFL draft.

Iowa

Yes, Iowa sports betting permits wagering on the NFL draft, but with a couple of provisions. The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission mandates that all draft markets need to be shut down 24 hours before the draft begins and cannot re-open for live betting during the event.

Kansas

Yes, Kansas sports betting fully allows NFL draft betting.

Kentucky

Kentucky sports betting launched in the fall of 2023 but does not allow wagers on the NFL draft. Don't worry, our Kentucky Derby betting sites will allow for plenty of action soon.

Louisiana

Yes, Louisiana sports betting is operational for NFL draft wagers.

Yes, Maine sports betting permits NFL draft wagers via Caesars and DraftKings.

No, there is no form of legal Minnesota sports betting entering the 2024 NFL draft.

Yes, sports betting in Montana includes NFL draft markets.

Nebraska

Yes, wagering on the NFL draft is permissible in Nebraska via in-person bets at a casino.

Nevada

Yes, Nevada sports betting permits NFL draft wagers, so long as player-specific bets are placed at least 24 hours before the start of Round 1. Other markets close prior to the beginning of the round in which those wagers would be decided.

New Hampshire

Yes, New Hampshire sports betting allows for draft wagers but only through DraftKings - the state's lone sportsbook operator.

New Jersey

Yes, New Jersey sports betting is open for NFL draft wagers.

New Mexico

While there is in-person sports betting allowed at casinos in New Mexico, the NFL draft is not among the regulated options, according to the New Mexico Gaming Control Board.
