Jorge Masvidal is a happy man these days – not just because Donald Trump is the President-Elect, but also because Masvidal predicted it would happen.

"I would love to toot my own horn and say I did a lot, so I could get other politicians to be like, 'Oh, we need Masvidal’s endorsement,'" Masvidal told Sportsbook Review in a recent interview. "But honestly, Trump didn’t need me. He won almost all of the states—I was calling it for a while ago—it’s going to be so big that they can't rig it, and it's going to be a massive landslide. And that's what it was. We shook the foundation from under these Democrats."

The decorated former UFC fighter and outspoken Trump supporter holds no love for the Kamala Harris-led Dems, who he believes were too focused on issues that most Americans don't care about.

"Their policies are way, way, way too radical," said Masvidal, who praised Trump and railed against Joe Biden in his UFC 287 retirement speech in April 2023. "People like Biden and Kamala, telling us for days and days, ever since the Presidency, instead of worrying about economic problems that are so far shifted, they're worried about transvestites and switching Easter to the National Trans Day holiday, things like that that most Americans think are way out of touch."

Masvidal to celebrity Dem backers: Go f**k yourself

Masvidal's vitriol extended to the long list of celebrities who backed the Harris/Tim Walz ticket – and he has a crystal-clear message for them.

"All those f**king celebrities (to) endorse Kamala, go f**k yourself," Masvidal said. "All of them. Every single last one. They're against the country. It's not that you have a political opinion or voice. No, it's that you're against America. You're all for that mutilation of children. You believe in wars overseas because Kamala stands for everything that most Americans just don't identify with. And it's not my voice now; it's the whole country's voice.

"One of the most scrutinized elections ever. It was supposed to be close. It wasn't even close, because they're so far to the left that we just can't agree with these policies. And America's not going to stand for it. And I'm glad that America came and spoke out."

Masvidal on global conflicts: We ain't backing down for s**t

The mutual respect between Trump and Masvidal goes back several years. Trump endorsed Masvidal prior to his 2019 bout with Nate Diaz, and the 40-year-old Cuban-born Miami resident returned the favor by backing Trump in all three of his presidential runs.

Trump credits Masvidal for his improved showing among Latino voters in Florida in 2020, and the President-Elect saw even greater success across that demographic en route to his 2024 election victory.

It's no surprise, then, that when asked about Trump's role in the biggest conflicts raging around the globe, Masvidal offered unwavering confidence that Trump will succeed in helping facilitate peaceful resolutions.

"I don't know what Trump's going to do, but I know whatever he's going to do is going to bring peace to the Middle East and peace to Russia and Ukraine," Masvidal told Sportsbook Review. "Undoubtedly, I know there's been threats, a lot of things. I've said that if Trump tries to stop these wars, they're going to assassinate him.

"Listen. This is the President of the United States, bro. We ain't backing down for s**t. Trump is going to handle it all just how he did the first four years, but even better now. He has a stronger team now than when he first went into the presidency."

Dana White vs. China?

Masvidal also believes in UFC CEO Dana White, going so far to suggest that White – a staunch Trump supporter and key figure at the Republican National Convention – should be part of Trump's team.

"He'd make a great official in government," Masvidal said. "Let me tell you what, Dana's not just like a smart dude, he has common sense—I don't know if he has degrees or not but I'm talking about just common sense, being able to connect dots, put this with that, and just make things happen. This guy's on another level. So obviously he could run in government or in the cabinet for Trump and do amazing things.

"Those two have known each other for a very, very long time. I think it'd be a perfect fit if Dana had some type of calling in government, as long as he didn't have to negotiate with Trump because Dana’s a hell of a negotiator, brother. But in negotiation with China, that’s what we need. Let Dana f***ing handle China and put all the tariffs and all the sanctions on China and get our money back. That's what we need."
